Of Bird and Cage is an adventure game project, which was developed in a rather unique style of interactive music album. Play the role of the main character - a young and full of enthusiasm girl named Gretta, who will do everything possible to make all your dreams come true. The main obstacle is her tormentor, who does not allow her to break free, binding not only physically, but also morally. After breaking free from her shackles, Gretta embarks on a long and challenging journey of dark secrets and unpredictable events. There are tons of obstacles and dangers waiting for you, and it won't be easy to cope with them. All the action in the game takes place in first-person view, which will provide a full immersion in a fairy-tale atmosphere. Go on adventures, go on locations, explore and collect resources and useful objects. It is worth noting the well thought out storyline with multiple branches, as well as endings, one of which you will be able to pass. ① Mount the ISO-image of the game with Alcohol 120%, DAEMON Tools or similar programs (Windows 10 has built-in tools for this operation).
② Run setup.exe from the root folder inside the image or wait for autorun.
③ Install the game in your preferred directory, following the installer instructions.
④ Run Setup.exe from folder Update of the directory Of.Bird.and.Cage.Update.v20210618-CODEX and extract the update to the directory with the installed game.
⑤ Launch Setup.exe from the Update folder of Of.Bird.and.Cage.Update.v20211007-CODEX and extract the update to the directory with the installed game.
⑥ Copy the contents of the CODEX subdirectory inside the image or the folder with the latest patch into the root directory with the installed game and agree to replace the files. An alternative and simpler option: during the installation of the game or the latest patch check the 'Copy contents of CODEX directory to installdir.
