S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl is the first part of the trilogy, which gathers more and more fans around the world. You get into the thick of the events of 2012. If we talk about the backstory, you can immediately go back a few years before the events of the game, namely in 1986. This was the year of the terrible events, when there was an explosion in the fourth unit of the Chernobyl nuclear power plant. All settlements and towns around have been evacuated. After a certain amount of time has passed, a huge dome in the form of a sarcophagus was built, after which the station was resumed. All housing, shorter vacated after the evacuation has been used as a laboratory under the secret. In 2006 there was a terrible outbreak that took many lives, after which the work to rebuild the station stopped. Now let's go back to 2012, which will bring a lot of eerie mysteries.
