Lamplight City is an Adventure-style action-adventure where your actions and decisions determine the outcome of events. First, the game introduces you to a new hero, Miles Fordham, who is a hereditary policeman who continues his family's. You, during all your conscious life, have been engaged in unraveling the most terrible cases, pleasant to the criminal world, what your father and grandfather did. All this time your constant assistant was Bill, who managed to save you from the threat of death many times. The setting is a small town with a very criminal history that has fallen on the shoulders of your kind. The setting is the nineteenth century, with its own laws and orders to which you have yet to adapt. You'll see airships in action, conquering the skies, as well as the first mechanical automatons with which countries threatened each other. There has been an accident at the production facility where our protagonist once worked, during which our character becomes depressed and decides to leave the generic business once and for all. Only he didn't take his professional skills into account, because apart from being an investigator, he knows nothing else, and he needs to earn money.
